My Journey to Building a Thriving Coaching Practice
I know how challenging it can be as an entrepreneur, a coach, or network marketer to acquire new clients and grow your business. I’ve been an entrepreneur for many years, experienced in selling my own products and services, a professional coach, sales and personality science trainer, and a published author.
This is why I’m so passionate about developing a thriving culture of entrepreneurs and coaches that are inspired and motivated to build a prosperous business and lifestyle. This is how we’ll influence more people to create a thriving life story for themselves, and have a bigger impact on the world.

My Journey from a Medical Mom to Life Coach
I am a professional coach, wife, and mother. For the last 12 years, while my husband financially supported the family, I’ve been the main caregiver to my two sons who each have more than one serious long-term medical condition.
I have walked, and sometimes crawled, through devastating and heartbreaking circumstances that were all but overwhelming and defeating. My younger son needed so much care that I gave up my career, my marriage was severely damaged, and I completely lost any sense of who I was, what I needed, and what I wanted.

My Journey from Ashes to Eden
In the summer of 2015, my home of 13 years was completely lost to fire. From that tragedy, I kept replaying in my mind the greatest nightmare I had as a child. And, there I was in the midst of my greatest fear. I lost everything I had materially! However, my children and I were safe.
At the time, the stress of having to rebuild my life seemed overwhelming. I discovered from this devastating experience, I could gain incredible strength. So, the fire then became a catalyst for meaningful growth and change. The intense heat from watching the fire destroy everything I had accumulated was the motivation I needed to begin exploring a new path for my life.

My Journey From Struggling Coach to Prosperity-Builder
I came to the profession of coaching with a background in mental health and entrepreneurship hoping it would be the perfect combination to develop a successful coaching practice. I soon realized the challenges and struggles in building a thriving practice. My coach training spent two hours on the last day of a yearlong program helping us define a niche and business plan. We never really discovered there was more to coaching than just one-on-one engagement. I had a lot of learning to do on my own, and soul-searching. I wanted to help everyone and learn every coaching modality. This left me floundering and frustrated, and it surely wasn’t helping me make money.

Sweet Micro-Mindful (M&M) Moments Emerged out of a Life-Changing Event
My 2.0 version of Mindfulness emerged out of a new reality I had awakened to in early January 2012. I found myself in a Kaiser Intensive Care Unit in Roseville, California, on life support with my wrists tied to the bed railings to keep me from dismantling the very apparatus keeping me alive. I had been given a tracheotomy so I could breathe independent of my mouth or nose, I had a PIC line in my arm to receive fluids and medications and my lungs were two-thirds occluded. I had severe Sepsis, severe pneumonia and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. My chances for living were less than 10%.

From corporate trainer and executive leadership coach to my private coaching practice
I was passionate about my work in human resources and executive leadership coaching. I worked in partnership with many incredible leaders during my long tenure. I had proven skills in resolving complex employee, leader, and team interpersonal communication problems. This was my life, going to work every day, and accomplishing all those duties.
I began to realize over the past few years that I was no longer being fulfilled with my internal corporate work as a coach. I wanted to expand my coaching on a more personal level and manage my life so I could spend more time with my family, and be available for my precious granddaughter.

My Journey from Inspiration to “Mirroring Metaphors” in Coaching
In this “Mirroring Metaphors” Webinar, I offer an introduction and application to the use of imagery, symbols, and metaphors to illustrate the deeper meaning of developing a new life story. So often, we see that our clients may believe they’re creating a new vision for their lives, and often later wonder why they’re still struggling. They may be stuck in the same picture and only adding frame after frame when what they really need is a whole new set of pictures that clearly illustrate a brand new flourishing storyline.
If you are a professional coach, ready to discover a deeper meaningful purpose in your practice to initiate powerful change in your clients, this Webinar is for you.

Virtual Workshop: #Power-Up Together™ – A Workshop for Women Who Have Experienced Harassment in the Workplace
Like many of you, I have a story of harassment during my tenure in the corporate world. I know that as a young woman I didn’t always recognize my value and contribution to the big picture.
The good news is we are in the midst of a cultural change. Leaders in all areas of life and business are being called on to reinvent themselves.
I recently learned a phrase from a workshop around Conversational Intelligence® that was produced on this Platform; Power With Vs Power Over. When I look back to my work in corporate many years ago, I realize the true meaning in this phrase. To be an effective and compassionate leader, we need to power with. #Power-Up Together

My Journey from Fear to Freedom as a Master Health & Empowerment Coach
Virtual Workshop: Coming Soon!
My childhood revolved around the onset of an autoimmune disease and the stories of struggle and hardship I so often heard. This later became the limiting beliefs I held on to as a young woman, navigating a world I envisioned as full of myths, lies and systemic disempowerment of women.
It was probably the intersection of all three that built a wall of fear so huge it left me voiceless, overwhelmed, hiding from myself and others, and passing up opportunities such as jobs, relationships, friends, and adventures. I developed an unhealthy relationship with my body and food, and was confused about how to get unstuck. I knew in my heart I wanted to live a purposeful life, surrounded by people committed to rising above their circumstances to thrive, but I just couldn’t seem to create it for myself.

My Journey as a Coach with a Passion for Nature-Based Healing
Virtual Workshop: Coming Soon
I believe how we perceive our life challenges and struggles is key to accepting and appreciating the journey. Life is a journey with a series of lessons. Recognizing this has kept me in the mindset of a perpetual learner. Whenever I’ve found myself feeling victimized by adversity, I would shift my mindset to a healthier and more empowering place. My love for nature has guided my healing process and always supported me through challenging life events.
My high school years were clouded by concerns for my younger sister, who suffered from depression as a teenager. She eventually took her own life at the age of 30, only six months after our father died from his battle with cancer. Shortly after these events, my husband and I both left jobs we adored with the U.S. Forest Service in a location I considered the most beautiful place in the world, Taos, New Mexico. We moved across the country to Wisconsin to care for my mother and stayed with her through 14 hospitalizations.
After my mother’s recovery, my husband and I headed back West again. I was finding it very difficult to put my career back on track. I eventually found a role in high visibility jobs for non-profit organizations, and later in a program development position for an Indian Tribe in Arizona. My husband was having similar career issues and these life tests eventually put a major strain on our marriage.

“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” —Mark Twain.
On a hot summer day when I was just seven years old, two girls moved into my neighborhood. That event stands out in my memory because, not only was a friendship formed that summer, but a passion was born. One of the girls had been adopted by her aunt due to her mother’s death. She told me about the pain of losing her mother, and the horrible abuse her aunt was inflicting on her. I listened and offered encouragement and friendship. Every day as she cried, I would let her know how much she mattered, and that somehow everything was going to be okay.
Little did I know that this event would be a steppingstone to my “why” which has been a lifelong journey of supporting and encouraging women to discover their unique identity and God-given destiny. Over and over in my childhood and beyond, I found myself to be the one person women came to for comfort and encouragement. I loved helping them turn their pain into potential.
