Frequently Asked Questions

As a potential client you may not be familiar with the process or benefits of using coaching as a means to accelerate your goals and your life. We’ve created this story of coaching to support you in knowing more about it.

International Coach Federation (ICF) is a professional global organization whose purpose is to elevate and sustain the coaching industry through member accreditation, certification, and coach trainings.

ICF defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.

Coaches honor the client as the expert in their life and believe every client is creative, resourceful and whole. Standing on this foundation, the coach’s responsibility is to support and encourage clients to expand their interpersonal and leadership skills to narrate a new prosperity story that encompasses all aspects of their lives.

Here’s what some celebrities say about the value of coaching:

It’s simply a celebrity’s profession that separates them from us “regular” folk. Believe it or not, they still experience the same challenges and emotions you and I go through on a daily basis.

They too can feel fear and can get overwhelmed. It’s also no secret that celebrities can have issues with money, health and relationships.

The use of a life coach has helped many celebrities work through roadblocks they encounter to take their lives to the next level. Other than their notoriety, celebrities are no different from anyone else. Just because they can be easily recognized on the streets doesn’t mean they’re not fighting an internal battle.

Andre Agassi

At one point, was ranked 126th in the world. Andre worked his butt off both on and off the court to become the number one tennis player in the world. He gave all of his credit to working with a life coach.

Oprah Winfrey

Oprah has attributed much of her success to her life coach, Martha Beck. She has been a major advocate for life coaching as a result. Over the last 25 years, she’s presented a multitude of life coaches to her fans and highly suggests her viewers to use a life coach to succeed.

Every Story Coach on our platform is required to use a 1-Hour Story Introductory Model for a minimal fee. In this innovative session, you’ll have the opportunity to rate the coach and provide feedback as to your experience. If you think this is the coach for you, you register with that coach. If you don’t think it’s the coach for you, you can schedule one more session with a second Story Coach.

Coaches each maintain their own rate schedules, which we have documented and accepted, while an experienced coach may typically charge more than a newer coach, it’s always wise to hire the coach you connected with the most. This is your life!

We require Story Coaches to engage a client in a minimum 3-month coaching agreement. If you reach your goals and have realized the value you sought, it may take just three months. Many clients use three months based on a particular purpose such as, transitioning into a new position, a business start-up or business growth, team-building, a divorce or broken relationship, parenting challenges, or health issues. All of these situations, as well as many more, are valid reasons for wanting to hire a coach or enroll in one of our powerful workshops or courses, at any given time in your life.

Group coaching is typically less costly, very effective, and most viable when you’re in a group with common goals or issues. It is a very powerful and synergistic approach, working within a community, each member with their own stories that often parallel yours. You’ll discover, through this process, you are not alone and that “not alone” can be critical to your growth and can make a significant difference in your life.
